Coles: The Message is the Medium

So, the message is the medium.

Coles always place fresh produce at the entrance. But why?

Not only is fresh produce much more colourful but it also makes the store look, in someway healthier. Putting milk at the back of the store forces the consumer to walk through the store and view everything first, encouraging us to grab something on the way. Chocolate bars at the counter, always on special and right at the eye level of our little ones. All examples of how the medium (coles store) is the message (buy everything).

The Coles stores encourages us to buy everything (the message).

My twitter experiments on our opinion blog follows a simple princible when propsed with Yes or No your minds are encourgae to put in there opinion and also see the status of the vote.
